Valve module for compressed air-operated sensor cleaning 


Design according to the minimum requirements for measuring instruments used at 
waste water treatment plants defined by ATV (waste water association) in bulletin M256. 

Valve module for compressed air-operated sensor cleaning;
the valve module is time-controlled:

- direct from IQ SENSOR NET Bus or 
- a relay of the Transmitte series 170/296 or IQ SENSOR NET or
- directly by the MIQ/VIS connection module for UV/VIS sensors 


The cleaning is done by means of external compressed air; the compressed air stream is effective 
via a separate cleaning head that is screwed on the sensor or directly at the UV/VIS sensors.

The valve module has the following features:

- With 2 free SENSOR NET connections, usable for IQ sensors or for the SENSOR NET
- Stack mounting (and at the same time electrical connection) to any IQ SENSOR NET module possible
- High EMC interference immunity
- Integrated lightning protection

Power supply:
Directly via IQ SENSOR NET (low voltage max. 24 VDC) or with separate wide range power supply 
MIQ/PS (PLUS) or MIQ/24V

Instrument protection:
IP 66 type of protection

Enclosure material:
PC - 20% GF (polycarbonate with 20% glass fiber)

Dimensions:
144 x 144 x 52 mm (W x H x D)

Temperature range:
Operating range: -20 C ... 55 C

The external compressed air supply can be provided via a compressed air line or a compressor.
Requirements for this: dry compressed air, free of oil and dust, 5 bar, approx. 40 NL/min
